Applicable Conditions and Limitations for Membership

MedPlus is a Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan designed to meet all of the needs of South Dakotans who receive Medicare and Medicaid benefits. Applicants must reside in South Dakota, be a Medicare beneficiary entitled to Part A and enrolled in Part B, and also be eligible for Medicaid. 

Conditions Associated with Receipt or Use of Benefits

Plan members must use network providers. Out-of-network claims will be accepted only for urgent or emergency services within the United States of America.

Premiums

MedPlus offers full Medicare Part A and B coverage, Supplemental coverage, and a comprehensive pharmacy benefit (part D). There is no additional premium for MedPlus.

*This does not include any Part B premiums the member may have to pay if Medicaid is not paying this premium for the member.

Cost Sharing

As a member of MedPlus you pay between $0 and $2.15 for covered generic drugs and between $0 and $5.35 for all other covered drugs, depending on your level of assistance.
